About me

I am a fully qualified and BACP Accredited Counsellor. I work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework. As well as meeting with clients privately, I am also a counsellor for the police federation and see NHS clients. Having counselled for well over a 1000 hours, I am experienced, committed and ready to work with you to improve your life for the better.

As I am an experienced counsellor, I have worked with clients with a wide and extensive range of situations and circumstances. If your situation feels overwhelming and complicated, rest assured I will work hard to bring you clarity.

Up until recently I was a counselling lecturer and Head of Department, training mature students to become qualified counsellors at a large local college, I have now moved away from this to focus on client work. A move which I am pleased to say was the right one for me, following my passion for working with individuals, helping people lead more fulfilling lives.

I am experienced in working with adults from 18 years old and upwards. I am unable to counsel young people as I am not specifically trained in this area.

I have an office space which has been specifically built for counselling. It is therefore a calm and quiet space away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

There is a toilet next to the counselling room and drinking water is provided.

The counselling room is located down a sloped driveway. There is a door threshold to enter the room, which may cause a problem for clients using wheelchairs. Please contact me for more details about accessibility.
